Front row joe. But I believe he had team mates. Yea ur right with sadler. Gilliland upset in the nationwide was bigger. In terms of shock I think

Gilliland's Nationwide Win was, to me, the biggest "upset" in NASCAR I've ever seen. I mean, the kid came out of nowhere and won in a car for a team no one had ever heard of.

Mentoring Gilliland that year in the Nationwide Series? Jerry Nadeau. OH YEA!

My question is this though. When Gilliland won, it landed him a full time cup ride. What happens with Keselowski? Hendrick can't take him, Childress has no room. He appears to be a chevy man, which will probably limit his options any further. The only team that may have room would be SHR. But can they handle another team?

Could Jr. Make a one car cup team.. maybe, but he has said it may be too much. He will probably race with Hendrick once Mark Martin wins his championship and retires, but maybe Jr. Moves his team up to cup. KInd of like what Roush and Yates will do with the fifth car next season. Possibly a move to SHR I could see, if Tony can do that.

The plan was, according to the boys on Tradin' Paint on Sirius/XM this morning was that Brad was to take over the #5 car when Mark finally retires for good, which was foreshadowed to be at the end of this season. Ultimately it is up to Mark and Rick as to what happens with the 5 and Kese's Cup career.

i'm pretty sure mark is going to run a limited schedule next year and the year after. atleast that's what was planned at the start of the season, keso may be sharing the 5 car with martin next year.

Brad has a good future in Nascar and I can almost guarantee he makes it to Hendrick Motorsports soon enough. But for now I think he's proven he can compete with the big boys

yeah Brad's got a great relationship with Hendrick-if worse comes to worse and Martin keeps racing full time-I wouldnt be surprised if he races a 3rd Stewart-Haas car....with MAJOR help from Hendrick.
