CLEVELAND (AP)—Unstoppable at both ends of the floor this season, Cleveland superstar LeBron James

James, who led Cleveland to a team record 66 regular-season wins and the top overall seed in the playoffs, will receive the award Monday afternoon, a person with knowledge of the choice told The Associated Press. James has chosen Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, his alma mater, as the site for the award presentation, said the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the official announcement has not been made.

Actually, he is the most deserving.
He should have won it last year, but they gave it to Kobe because he had the better team....why should it be any different for LeBron?
Wade couldn't even get his team out of the first round of the Playoffs. Hardly an MVP.

Playoffs have nothing to do with the MVP award. James won it and deserves it. Wade and a few others had some pretty amazing seasons, but they dont match up to LeBron's body of work this year.

when you think of MVP you have to think 'where would the team be without this player?'

The team with the NBA MVP hasn't won a championship in 6 years. Just found that interesting.
Congrats to Bron, but I'm with Dan, I think Wade deserved it more.
