    Reporters Stand For Obama

But not for Bush. But there is no bias in the media.

Much like Chris Matthews was not bias and will likely run as a Democrat in 2010. Looks like the media got there man!

The media always get's their man mike ... it's nothing new. It happened with Clinton, it happened with Bush, it happened with Obama and it will continue to happen until the Sheeple of these United States of America wake up and stop listening to what the maninstream media pumps into your ears all day long and startts to form their own opinions.

Did they stand for Bush in his first 3 months in office? Or is that video from his last year in office, when pretty much the entire world no longer respected him?

    Exactly what I was thinking.

He was still the President of the United States of America...haven't I heard something like "you don't have to respect the man, but respect the office" on here before?

Honestly, I don't really give two ****s if the media stands or sits for any president. We are all human beings. Having a lot of power doesn't mean you should be treated like royalty. I'm sure their egos are big enough already.

The point is these are the people giving us the "news" and they obviously bashed Bush every chance they got and they obviously rub a little Obama **** behind their ears because it apparently smells like flowers. It's not the issue of sitting or standing for a President, it's that they are treating one different from the other, when all along they're supposed to be "objective." And when people ignore this treatment, they're usually doing the same thing.

If that is the point, then why post this: "He was still the President of the United States of America...haven't I heard something like "you don't have to respect the man, but respect the office" on here before?"

Regardless, have we really reached the point where we are drawing conclusions based off whether members of the media sit or stand? I'm sure there are plenty of other better means to prove the point of media bias. Then again, considering who posted the thread, I'm hardly surprised.

Because that line has been used repeatedly by Obama supporters when pointing out differences between Bush and Obama in Bush's favor...turnabout is fair play. If you apply that standard to Obama, you have to apply that standard to Bush as well, which is not being done in this case.
