With Kobe and Rondo they cannot prove that something was done on purpose. They both play physical basketball and did nothing that was that obviously showed they fouled someone on purpose. Although both of their fouls were much harder then Rafers, they were not clearly intentional.

Did you see what Rondo did? He threw Hinrich into the scoreboard tables, how was that a basketball play? go watch it again please

Rafer ran up to a guy to smack him. He deserved a suspension.

Rondo didn't try to smack brad miller on that play that busted his lip, he was just trying to stop him from scoring and he was in the air when it happened which means it wasn't deliberate.
If you had watched this series you would have also seen how some of these fouls were even called at times. There was one play where Hinrich tripped over himself on a fast break and paul pierce was like 8 feet behind him and they called a fould on Pierce. Just complete inconsistentcy, so those hard fouls were called the same way. The only play in that series that deserved a flagrant 2 might have been when Gordon got dropped on his back going up for a dunk, other than that these were all playoff basketball fouls.

The Rafer Suspension because of the smack on Eddie House was deserved. For one, how would you feel if everytime your team was blowing out another team players took shots like that at each others heads and got away with it. People would just open up their palms and smack each other when they're frustrated. All the players would know that if you have a closed fist you'd get suspended for sure, but with an open palm smack to the head and you'd get away with it...everyone would do it. Also, there's no way to tell actually how hard he hit Eddie in the head unless your Eddie House who acutally felt the pain, so don't say it wasn't hard. His suspension is also deserved because he didn't accidently smack him in the head when he was going up for a block or trying to get a ball in the air. He intentionaly smacked him when Eddie was on his way back up the floor, which automatically showed it wasn't just for kicks and giggles.

As for the Kobe Foul I don't think it should have even been a flagrant. Artest plays physchial, so what does the league expect for players not to play against him physchially. I mean Kobe was completely tangled with the guy, is he not suppose to get free or anything? Sometimes inadvertant elbows come out when your trying to get free from something and that's what it looked like on the play where kobe supposedly elbowed Artest in the neck.

You don't use elbows to try to get free from box out. More specifically, you don't elbow upward. Unless the player is dumb, that's only trying to hurt the other player.

I'm going to say this: If Ron Artest was the one that threw the elbow, he'd be suspended.

if you watch basketball in the paint you will see little elbows everywhere. if he elbowed upward like you say then he would have hit artest in the face but he did not. he didnt hurt nor tried to hurt artest. just to get him off his back. artest barely even felt that. if that happened during a pickup game no one would be complaining about a foul or anything like that.

and ill say this, if ron artest did the same thing i still would say the same thing.. no suspension because this was nothing seriously.

anyways Lakers go up 2-1 tonight

Everyone is going to have a different opinion about rondo, kobe, and artest.

When you run up to a guy and smack him in the head you are going to get suspended. Its a face. Unless you playfully are smacking someone you know you are going to get suspended. It doesnt matter how hard he hit him but he hit him purposly when he was running down the court.
