Totally agree.
But I have some great experience with some people here, most of SFC user are great person.
But a few are most like, I'll take your great card, but I'll only give you my crap.
I had send card only to help, or only taking something the same value, I had some other user do the same for me. So many great trade.
But not all.

Theres always gonna be people who think they really need it so im gonna jack the price up but it goes both ways as some people will go wow he/she really needs this card, Ill cut them a deal. My 2 examples
Geschrocks33 knew it was my birthday on tuesday and the other day I got a package in the mail with a Tom Gilbert MVP RC and some gold medallions i needed. (free)
and a second example JoelCarry he knew how bad I was looking for a gilbert cup rookie auto patch card and he cut me a rgeat deal and sent it express for 18.39 dlvd.
I have seen the other type of people as well though and those people I jsut try to avoid.

This can apply. When you have two guys wanting the same card. It is determined how bad one or the other needs it more, by what they are willing to part with.
Of course I'm going to take the offer that makes more sense. I will be absolutely fair as well, but knowing that one will be disappointed.Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd

Ive seen this darkside as well and in the end it doesnt work well for either person. You get ripped off and the other guy looses a trading partner.

You can't make everyone happy. Just enjoy the folks you find that you enjoy trading with and keep them close. As they will make the hobby so much more enjoyable. Friends in the hobby can always make a bad encounter like this go away quickly.

I've been very happy with most all that I've dealt with at SCF. I'm a Penguins PC collector, and love every single Pens card I have. This is why I think I get, almost, as excited for my trading partners to get their PC in return as they are to get it. Because I'm not a set collector, all the lower end inserts and parallels are pretty much given away if someone's trying to complete a set. It's nice to be able to help in those little ways, when you can. The only time I try to get any more than, or at least BV is when trading for trade bait. Only because I'd prefer the trade bait to be tradeable.

thats not yet the worst type of traders, whats worse is people who look for targets see collectios, search the cards , outbid you on most of the auctions and if they win sell you the cards you need at more outrageous prices .

I had an inquiry about some champs mini's that I owned. I told the buyer to just send me shipping cost of 2.50 and he could have the cards. He asked if I wanted anything in return and I stated that if he really wanted to he could send me an auto of any player of his choice as long as it was hard signed but wasn't necessary. He came back to me with a no thanks even after I was going to just give the cards to him so you just never know who you are dealing with. Don't know for sure but maybe he thought there was going to be a catch.

Perhaps they remember their parents telling them "If it sounds too good to be true it probably is."
