yeah i mean if you want atleast $100 for teh card, start the bidding at $100 or reserve of a $100. The auction has the reason it was canceled listed as error in Reserve price.. there was no reserve..

I do it all the time if I'm asked and I like the offer, and then there are times that I know the item should sell for more and I know I'm not letting a good card go for pennies, I'll cancel all bids and end the item early and relist it at a later time. and, yes...it's allowed

There are lots of reasons people end auctions early.

yeah im pretty sure he expected more for it since it was under $20 with like a day to go and his BIN was $700..

If his Buy IT Now was $700, I'm sure you can understand why. That would be a HUGE loss. Just PM him and see if he will sell it to you.

Exactly. If I see something I want to bid on, plan on winning (I'm watching an auction right now, ending in 30 minutes), and will not lose..... one thing I always do is place a bid early. Not my "max" bid, but a decent bid. I don't want the seller to end the auction early, because someone has made an offer to the seller. I figure if I've already made a decent bid.... that should at least get me a courtesy email before the auction gets canceled.

Woo-Hoo! I won. And at a bargin price.

On day two of the auction, I offered the seller $40 dlvd to end the auction for me. He said no, that he didn't end auctions early. Obviously.... I got no problem with that, thanked him for the quick reply, and told him I'd continue to bid. I just won for $25.91 dlvd :)
