Close but not quite. From what I saw (which wasn't much since I've been watching the Memorial Cup) it looked like a really good game. Just remember Hawks fans: you're not in trouble in the playoffs until you lose on home ice.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Yikes @ Brian Campbell. For all the flak the Sabres get for letting good players go, he is one I didn't mind them trading away so we could get something for him. Good skater and offensive defenseman, but he is way overpaid and not someone I would trust in handling a critical situation. Just my opinion

    try drafting better players

My Flyers do draft pretty well, although I wish they had the scouting like the Wings do.

Especially when you're the lower seed. Many teams have come back from being down 0-2 when losing the first two on the road.

    Example Pittsburgh from last round.

The Blackhawks can skate with the Wings. They need to get more chances. Last nights game was really close, but close doesn't mean the series is 1-1. Things need to happen to see the Hawks come back.

actually it does make sense. The red wings havent had a pick in the top half of the first round since probably Steve Yzerman. The wings get much better players than the hawks in much later rounds. Jon Ericsson was taken last...could the hawks not have taken him??? Zetterberg was a 3rd rounder I believe. And Datsyuk wasnt a first rounder either. The wings have better scouting and drafting than anyone else in the league. How is this a farfetched statement???

are u saying Jon ericcson is better than the Hawks young Players?

The Hawks have Great young Players and i still think they do great drafting. Half of their roster is under 25, and only 3 players are in their 30s (2 of them are their 2 goalies). IMO the hawks have great young players and do a very good job drafting and will be good for a very loing time, as long as they can keep some of the young players.

the hawks may do a good job in the Draft...but the red wings do the best job on the draft consistently with the worst # pick selections every year.

No Hawks fans your in trouble if the Wings big guns wake up and start playing. So far in this series it has been the Wings depth that has carried them, not to mention Ozzie actually playing fantastic in game two. If Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Hossa start scoring this series will be over pretty quick.
