haha, thats cool. I think this series can go 6 or 7. Datsyuk needs to come back for the Wings, and Havlat for the Hawks, so the best can go up against the best.

I dont think the hawks outplayed the wings. How can you say we were outplayed when we spent over half the 1st period shorthanded?

Face it the Wings were outplayed from the opening whistle except for a short burst in the second period. The Wings played the game like a boxer who knows he's ahead on points. They just didn't skate with the Hawks. It is almost like they think the Hawks should just roll over and play dead because the mighty Wings are on the ice.
The Kronwall hit on Havlat was legal like others have said, and yes I would think it was a legal hit even if it was a Wings player getting hit. He kept his elbow and forearm tucked in tight and hit Havlat with a clean shoulder. Kronwall didn't leave his feet until after the collison and it was momentum from the hit that caused him to leave his feet.
So let's get back to good clean hockey in game 4 and hope everyone is good to go.

The hit was borderline, but the fact of the matter is that Kronwall typically plays like a dirtbag, so he deserved no benefit of the doubt. He always takes runs at people, he always goes for the head, and he ALWAYS leaves his feet. This one was borderline like I said, but its about time he gets called for something.
Otherwise a must win game for the Hawks, so its no shock they played with more urgency than Detroit. And I really doubt Datsyuk being out is any valid excuse for the Wings play last night. Datsyuk has been horrible through out the playoffs, and has pretty much silenced the whole "Datsyuk is the best player in the NHL" crowd with his lack of production when it matters. Heck Darren Helm has been better than Datsyuk in these playoffs.

I am getting sick of seeing the SAME Wings fan(and you know who you are) not giving other teams there props!! I love the Wings but dude you are really close to making even me root for another team to win!! Stop with all your The Wings Are Gods posts please!!! They are good!!! But even the Best can be beaten!!!
And also the wings were not just outplayed the were absolutely DOMINATED except for a 4 minute period in the second!!

IMO, the best Detroit player so far in this series, besides osgood, has been Cleary. It always seems that the player you trade away or just let go is the player that comes back to bite you in the a** when it matters most.
