Here are the product details on 2008 Razor Letterman Baseball:
5 packs per box, 1 card per pack.
Each pack contains one hand signed Letterman card in a magnetic holder to insure quality. In addition, Razor will be including redemption cards for complete jerseys including Team USA Jerseys! Razor has announced that Pete Rose will now be included in the Razor Letterman BB product - his autos will be numbered to 50, 20, 5, and 1!
Each pack will include either an auto prospect letterman or a Pete Rose auto letterman!

I think at this price they wanted to make sure all VIPs had a chance to buy the boxes. If they sold cases they would sell out quickly and not as many people could take advantage of the deal.
