agreed, and i contacted him as well, and got the identical response (give or take some) as the poster above this quote.. plus some more info...
maybe he got a fake to begin with... but he seems nice in our dialogue.. i know...

It is a fake, I have the original sold on eBay in my archive. They scap one of the best 3 color patch for that :(

That's definitely not the same card. Look at the autos - they are positioned differently. I think your may be 65/99.

You are right. It is 65/99. I deleted that image. I already had the image from ebay but did not want to show it as authentic.

That dude bought cheap single colored or bland high end cards. Yea he might have paid a few hundred for the 2 color Ovechkin LL he turned into the Capitol building but its not like he was ever buying top of the line stuff like the dude who is selling this card does. This guy probably owns half of the jersey # gold rookie parallels from the Cup. I've also seen him sell quite a few high end cards with one color patches such as an AO Cup rookie, so I doubt he just made an exception here. People who spend money like that obviously are not going to waste their time cutting up cards just for a couple hundred bucks.
