Regardless if you're ranked high in the draft or not, every player is drafted based on potential. There is no gurantee that his game will translate to the NBA level, so why doesn't he just prove to us what he's worth on the NBA level, and THEN pick and choose where he wants to play. He's only 18 years old, he has a ton of time to sign on to a big market team later in his career.

I personally hate it when players act like spoiled brats, and think that they could bend the rules, when there are so many other players who would gladly take his place.

But if he feels like the Timberwolves don't give him the best chance at that he's gonna want out. I agree about players acting like spoiled brats but he is trying to do what's best for him in his mind. He has the notion that he is better than most of these guys and he wants to be in a position to win and show what he's got. Trust me if Rubio dosen't want to play for the TWolves, the TWolves don't want him to be there.

I understand there giving their opinions but if you put just a little bit of thought into it, it actully makes sence which is why im saying that, everyone is just saying the first thing that pops into their head and says it. its kinda frustrating

so i dont think or have a brain? wow your cool if you had that feeling dont pick him, let someone else deal with it, take Flynn and another player that actually wants to play

Let's try to keep the personal, yet indirect comments to a minimum, or none. Thanks.

Ditto! I was saying something similar earlier today...he hasn't even been in the NBA for 24 hours, and he's already demanding/making his own rules (or at least attempting to).

Ricky Rubio is such an awesome name. I guarantee he has a bad *** signature.

that is very true and thats why im ripping on the Twolves, because of the fact they draft a player who dosnt want to play not because they drafted 2 PG's in a row

But they didn't know he didn't want to play here until after they drafted him - I didn't hear anything about him saying that he didn't want to play for MN...I heard that he wanted to play in a big market, but I didn't hear that he didn't want to play for the Wolves.

Trust me the Twolves knew that Rubio was not fond of playing MN if he didnt like Oklahoma City and Memphis im sure it be logical he didnt wanna play in MN either
