I can 100% see Laimbeer coming to the D. Its the team he played for, perfect situation to bring this team back to the top, plus all the players should have massive respect for him since he's already coached and he's one of the original bad boys. and thank the lord curry is gone!!! :)

Yea Laimbeer will definitely be a fan favorite. It will be Avery Johnson, Doug Collins or Laimbeer.

Curry also played for the Pistons...Like i said if Laimbeer preaches defense, i'd love for him to coach, if he doesnt though i dont want him anywhere near this team...
Also i'd love to have Avery as a coach, the Pistons havent had a coach in along time that gets on them when they dont perform, they need a coach that has an opinion and will voice it which is Avery

Yea but really, Curry wasnt even close to the same level of a player that Laimbeer was. Yea we need a Larry Brown 2.0 or something like that lol. We just need somebody who can get into the players heads that "Hey, im runnin things here". Also what you said somebody who lives by defense would be something we NEED since our offense is pretty good for the most part. thanx

From ya'll comments, it sound like Jeff Van Gundy would be ideal for Detroit.
(You guys are going to regret it.)

Haha, Jeff is a joke. Just from listening to him i can tell you he'd take Detroit down to the ground. Bring Laimbeer in!
