Hate to burst some bubbles, but Edge & Jericho are going to be a short-term team at best. Their personalities clash, with Edge being the amoral gutter trash heel he's been for the last five years (a persona that evolved over time) now coupled with the emotionless, self-righteous Jericho, who thinks he's doing what's right, but it is exactly the opposite. Inevitably, they will implode and feud.

And as noted, Edge hurt his ankle in a match last night vs. Jeff Hardy. Don't know the severity of the injury, nor if Edge can continue with the road trip to Honolulu & Tokyo.

Edge is probably done for awhile

    http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/ne...House-Show.htm

Thats a big hit to the Smackdown roster, torn achilles tendon... If Edge is done, i would assume WWE will REALLY try and get Jeff to sign a new deal, because with no Edge & no Hardy, that really in my opinion leaves Chris Jericho & Undertaker as people who could challenge Punk...

John Morrison is a possibility, but i dont see him getting that type of push right now

IDK. But I have a feeling their match at summerslam match will be for hardy putting his career on the line for the title.

I think his contract is up before then, this article here had this in the article..

The writers have also been instructed to come up with something for Summerslam in case Jeff Hardy has a change of heart. The event is one of the biggest ones of the year, and the company would love to have the Charismatic Enigma around."

It sounds like his contract that ends in two months ends before Summerslam
