Haha this is absurd. I mean ignoring the fact that this is a stupid argument, what about the Toronto Raptors? Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani, Joey Graham, Jake Voskuhl, Hedo Turkoglu, and that one point guard from Croatia?

those are all europeans, this article is referencing white americans

lol no not the same thing, totally different. and if he wanted all white players...why has he drafted A.J. Price, Hibbert, Bayless, James White, Shawne Williams, Danny Granger, David Harrison, Rashad Wright, James Jones, etc etc. And why has he traded for players such as Jarrett Jack, T.J. Ford, Brandon Rush, etce tc. And why has he signed players such as Dahntay Jones, Andre Owens, Courtney Sims, Kareem Rush, etc etc. All he is saying is that he wishes more white players would be in the NBA because of the way it was back in his playing days. He's most definately not saying there are too many black players. Do you even see the point here of what Bird is saying and his intentions of his team? As you can see all he wants is TALENT. He doesn't care the color of the players' skin. He's forming a team that does stay out of trouble after all the bad luck he has had with some select players, but also a team that plays great together, a young team, a team that actually wants to play and can play. To Bird it doesn't matter what color the players' skin are!!!
