    Name a NHL Team Enforcer

    Heya Folks,

Your friendly neighbourhood tech writer here. I'm bored at work and thought to myself I wonder who played the enforcer role for various teams throughout the years in the NHL.

Post an enforcer who played with a club maybe with a little bio /stats. I'll go first.

    Tiger Williams: Toronto/Vancouver/Detroit/LA/Hartford

Tiger was best known for his role as an enforcer, but he was also able to score goals. He played on five different NHL teams during his career. He was drafted by the Maple Leafs and played there from his NHL debut on 7 January against the New York Islanders in 1975 until he was traded to the Vancouver Canucks on 18 February, 1980 for Rick Vaive and Bill Derlago. While in Toronto, he broke many Maple Leaf and NHL penalty minute records and led the league in penalty minutes twice with 338 in 1976–77 and 298 in 1978–79. While it seemed that he lived in the "sin bin", he was able to score his fair share of goals. During his best season in Toronto, he scored 22 goals in 55 games before being traded to the Vancouver Canucks part way through that season. He scored 8 more goals in 23 games that season with Vancouver for, at that time, a career best 30 goals. -wikipedia.

Nothing like going to a Whalers game on Halloween and watching the "Grim Reaper" get into some fights :)

    Bob Probert
This enforcer appeared in 935 games in 16 seasons for the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, amassing approximately 3,300 minutes in penalties during his NHL career. Was extremely popular in Detroit as part of the "Bruise Brothers", along with Joe Kocur, in the late 80s and early 90s. Even got voted to represent the Campbell Conference in the 1988 NHL All Star game, making his only All-Star appearance, in his best offensive season which saw him finish with 29Gs-33As-62Pts (3rd in team scoring) to go along with a career high 398 PIMs as well.
