It was a semi excuse, because he still should've known completely what he was getting.

Yea it sucks that Rashard won't be there for the first 10 games of the season, but the Magic will still kill it in that time period, and after with shard back in.
With Vince, the Magic are a whole new beast to reckon with.

With Carter they won't be any better than they were last year, especially since Hedo is gone.

Vince overplays Hedo in many areas. Hedo made a lot of flops with horrible passes, taking crazy circus shots, and turning over the ball many times, I don't see Vince making so many mistakes. Don't get me wrong, Hedo had many great games and moments for the Magic, but it won't compare with what Vince has to offer and what he will do.

I have NO respect for this guy now. "Didn't know he was taking", what a joke! You know who else said that? A-Rod, Clemons, Manny. The were publically CRUCIFIED. Manny Missed 50 games (roughly a third of the season). Lewis should miss at least that. This hurts even more because when I first starting liking the NBA, this was one of the guys I looked up too.

Carter is only going to get worse though...he isn't the same player. He is still good, but I'd rather have Alston, Lee, and Hedo over an older Vince Carter. Carter still has some left in him, but this move hurts the Magic in the long run if you ask me.

Pretty dumb thing for Rashard to be allegedly unaware of testosterone enhancing stuff. I know the guy's a twig and probably wants to bulk up in a hurry, but that's what weights are for - d'oh! I've been lifting over a year and have seen great results even as a girl - I guess I'll have to show him some weight training, lol.

I think Shaq's phone interview they played on Sportscenter today summed it up when he generalized steroid and supplement use in the NBA. Wish I had the clip to post here.
