As Korean pronunciation, "Peja" means "Loser".
So when Stojakovic was very nice at Kings, some people called him as "Seungja"(means "Winner" as Korean).
Interesting thing is Peja is also class of 96.(might be # 12 pick)

You know I though it was 99, but nbacard is right it is 96. Peja in between Kobe and Steve Nash. How come his rc cards are 99? Did he go back overseas?
Overeasy eggs are the best, only after the yolk has broke over the hashbrowns..this is true.

Yeah his rcs are from 99.. but on nbadraft.net draft history it has him being drafted 12 between kobe and nash.. Can't believe Kobe was 11th. I am no basketball expert so who knows.

Kobe was 11th because he was still an unproven high schooler back then. KG was the first high schooler and he wasn't a superstar yet. So people being weary of high schoolers and drafting @ #11 is a safe choice.
I like medium rare steak with baked potato.

Kobe was 13th, and Peja was 14th.
Peja didn't come to the NBA though until 98-99 though because he continued to play for his European team, like many overseas players do.
