Like every year, I'm looking at my Tarheels. Hansbrough, Green, Ellington, Lawson.
The last few seasons of Tarheels have not really lived up to expectations in the NBA. They're so close to Duke, I wonder if the curse is rubbing off in Chapel Hill.
I hear good things about Hansbrough..we'll see though. Don't know the rest too well.
Nah...I don't think they're cursed..they're just............lol.
I am looking at Johnny Flynn to be hot stuff this year, I love his passion for the game, which really showed in the 6 overtime game he had.
DEFINITELY!!! Love to watch a player who gives it his all and THEN some during a game. That can not only turn a game around..but, a whole season!!
Nice Choice :) I guess I'll be fighting with you over his cards ;) But i guess I'm also looking for DeMar Derozan. I want to see how well he improves over his time as a rookie.
LOL..well, hope we don't bump heads TOO many times in gettin them. Hmm..don't know much about Derozan..will have to look into him
.
Johnny Flynn and Wayne Ellington, along with DeJuan Blair...Ellington and Blair could both prove to be key contributors to their teams, and for being late 1st-round and early 2nd-round picks, they should end up being considered steals.
Hasheem Thabeet is another one, but he's not really a surprise being a 7'3" blocking machine and the 2nd overall draft pick...
I HEAR that!! LOL.
He's like a younger and skinnier version of Tayshaun Prince.
WOW!! Skinnier?? I did not think it was possible to get skinnier than Tayshaun..Hopefully he lives up to some of the expectations they have on him.
Lawson and Harden.
NIIICCEE!!
Tyler Hansbrough...I'm really hoping he can be a solid contributor off the bench for my Pacers. He was amazing in summer league play, even stepping out to the 3, so I hope he just continues to get better and proves his haters wrong yet again.
Hmm..not a bad kid. He just needs to develop his shot more. Also.. you'd figure at 6'9" and whopping 250 he'd avg MORE than .5 blks a game. I agree..he's got a good 'All-around' game..he just needs to devolop it. Indiana was a great 1st team for him to land on.

oh YAH!! That's another one I was debating..just never understood his lack of PLAYTIME!! I mean..great free throw shooter..what?90+%. Not afraid to shoot the 3 and can MAKE the 3. Had to look it up..but, it looks when given some more playtime..he was avg'ing 23.7 pts a game. NICE!! Let's see how he adjusts to the NBA though. THIS very could be the draft sleeper that everyone kicks themselves over for not getting earlier

Definitely some great potential there. I just don't like that he only played '1' year of college ball. You can NOT get the experience of college ball in one year..specially being a Freshman. LOL...although it WAS USC..you can experience ALOT there..in a lil bit of time.
probably Harden or Brandon Jennings.
Yah...I LIKE Harden...he's I think one of the most tried & true of the draft picks. I especially like that he's already turned a losing franchise around into a winning franchise his 'FRESHMEN' year!! Which shows he not only has the skill..he can lead with it also. Poor Sun Devils..don't know WHAT they're going to do now. I don't think he'll have any problem w/getting some playtime. OK NEEDS some wins. It's lookin pretty good for the Thunder...hmmm
Don't know ANYTHING about Jennings though..other than that he played in Italy. Which explains the hair..LOL.
