Prices seem good enough. If the cards are rare, and it's from a guys PC, then you either take it or leave it. I know I've seen the Cup gold 4/4 sell for a bit over $300. Either way, as all have said, PC stuff does not leave cheap. I have several Brodeur cards I've bought in the $200-$300 range that I would not even consider moving for less than $400. Sure at auction they ain't worth that, but I could care less. They are mine and I like them, so if you want them you will have to make it worth my while. Most collectors feel the same way with PC stuff.

If you're a fan of Koistinen, then that lot is a steal. That's the ready made foundation of a complete collection if you decide to chase everything. Both shields, Cup 1/1, and Cup RC /4 alone would be worth that price if they were PC items.

Due To Rules Violations
Im going to play Devils advocate in saying what about just buying a few of them at a time...and not the whole lot with the "kitchen sink"...That way ya dont have to sacrifice your ENTIRE Oshie collection and you get some super rare cards of a guy you have interest in...

I don't think you should expect to do a whole lot better. He's probaby added 10-25% onto what he paid to get them (and rightfully so).
It's tough. Would I pay that much? No, but I've got zero interest in Ville Koistinen. I'm not surprised, at all, that someone who already collects him would want a premium to part with those cards though.
If you want to drop Oshie, and collect Koistinen..... I guess it's a good deal. It would be impossible to get those cards anywhere else.

Personally speaking, I think TJ Oshie's career is going to dwarf what Koistinen will do. Already last year, John Davidson (Blues GM) was commenting that on many nights, TJ Oshie was the best player on the ice. On the basis of talent and future value, it's a no-brainer. That's not taking into account how strong your Oshie PC presents itself already.
I wouldn't do it if Ville Koistinen himself offered to hand-deliver that lot of his cards to your door...

ville koistinen ?
why would anyone make him PC, his own family aside ?
maybe i am missing something, but dropping a Oshie-PC for Koistinen seems weird to me.
or is it just because you think that on most of Koistinen's card the shipping costs will be
higher then the card itself, or in other words the player is more affordable ?Last edited by Marko; 09-09-2009 at 05:00 PM.

................Yes........
The other poster knocked on Kositien so bad. Nothing wrong with expressing opinions but being out right negative about someones collection is wrong. I do not care if you collect Malkin and have every card ever produced of his or if you collect some one who has played only 1 game in the NHL, a PC is a PC not need to knock it.

Thanks Mack.
Very sad that some one tells you who is great enough to collect. There are some 'rules' and one very important and simple is NEVER - EVER knocked to other collectors collection.
Lets all start collecting Gretzky!
