The President of the United States deserves respect regardless of whether you agree or disagree with him. What Rep. Wilson did was extremely disrespectful

I agree but because he has an "R" next to his name and Obama has a "D" next to his it is front page news.
Democrats outright boo'd Bush during a State of the Union address and were never called on the carped.
I do agree though that it should not have been done.
Heck in Korea they have fistfights in their legislature.

I didn't watch the speech as I was out last night, but I'm kind of with OPT on the presidential speeches. Pres says something and one side gives a standing O and the other side sits on their hands. The image of the seats with one side sitting and one side standing is truly a sad site for me and it should be for everyone. It just shows how much everyone aligns with "their" party. I think the entire slate needs to be wiped clean, but without any term limits all we get is the same old people hanging around, using our money to keep their money and power. It's sick.

Exactly. The republicans are starting to fight fire with fire. i dont know if its the best idea to stoop to the lefts level, but it seems like the only option sometimes. Obama was standing up there and telling lie after lie, while taking jabs at and disrespecting republicans. That seems to be all he does. Bush was always respectful and he put up with far worse. This is just media BS.

It should also be said that extreme tactics like yelling out liar may be necessary. The media does everything in their power to silence and hide opposition to the great one. A lot of people may not even know that people disagree with Obamas Facts, since he so often claims that they are undeniable. Obviously there are a lot of people who take Obama at his word. there is proof of that on some of the earlier posts in this thread.

I don't think blatantly disrespecting the President of the United States during a speech is acceptable behavior. He has earned the opportunity to speak and should be respected when doing so. There are plenty of other opportunities to be able to voice dissent

agreed, there's a time and a place for this where he could voice his opinion and disagreements. I didn't like it because it shed a bad light on the Republican side, where some might feel outbursts in the middle of a Presidential speech would be just cause

"4.He has got us out of debt, that the great George Bush left us in war etc."
Onepimptiger allready pointed out the obvious, but there is something you are missing because the media just wont tell you. The current recession and financial woes that we are facing are a direct result of the Community Reinvestment act. George Bush has nothing to do with it. The people that are the most connected to this Nightmare that nearly caused the stockmarket to crash are Bawney Fwanks, ACORN, and the left. It seems that Obama would be one of the last people you would want in the White House since he is so intertwined with these sewer elements of our government. Since most people, including you, are completely unaware of this and many other Truths, the media is obviously dwelling in that sewer with the rest of the slime that is currently attempting to bring this country down with all of their "Hope and Change".
