I actually think that line, "Who? Mike JONES. Who? Mike JONES," was a great marketing ploy.

Mike Jones was probably the hottest rapper out for 3 weeks. I even bought his first trashy album. He still put out a few hits but is far from a rapper.

Search on youtube "Ron Artest Get Lo" or Ron Artest Mike Jones, yeah he had an entire album back when he was with the Pacers under his label "Tru Warier". I remember back in 03-04 after the Palace thing:
Stephen A Smith: "So what do you think about your 73 game suspension?"
Artest:"Uhh, idk. But cop my new album yo, it's the hottest thing on the block!"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_World_(Ron_Artest_album)
"I used to smoke and get high before games, Rick Carlisle be hatin on me"
lol!

Haha I actually heard a few AI songs, it's not too bad. He's actually a guy that you know lived the typical rap lifestyle, or what people make it to be, so it's believable and respected at least.
I'll leave you all with a few more things...
"I like my sprite easter pink."
and
"281-330-8004, Hit Mike Jones up on the low cuz Mike Jones about to blowwww!"
Oh, and another thing, What do you all think of Gucci Mane? Personally, I'm not usually into this kind of rap, I'm usually a soulful/meaningful rap sort of guy (i.e. Nas/Common/Mos Def/Talib Kweli/and the list goes on...), but I seem to like Gucci. His rhymes have their moments, and I find myself enjoying most of his songs. There's just something about him that I like...and no, it's not that he's a proven murderer...
