There are good people out there that would make great presidents, but they arent willing to be corrupt enough to actually get in office. Thats the problem.

Ah, like John McCain, you mean. At least, that's what I once thought about him, until he showed what he was really like.

I think Kucinich or Paul would of been better, but everytime they said something actually smart people laughed. We're living in a world like that movie idiocracy right nowl.

Why does everyone hate on "greedy" businessmen? If these terrible, terrible people continue to make money, that means that YOU are still supporting their enterprise. Who's the idiot now?

It's because of the example I laid out above (called Capitalism) that I hate Government. Their livelihoods do not depend on how successful their attempts at doing their job correctly like all of us. They seek only to increase their own stock for the next election, and why not? If the American Sheep will keep voting them into office, who is really the bad person here?

So, I'll say it once again. Vote for the Libertarian presidential candidate in 2012. If you don't and have expressed your hatred of the bi-party system, you're representing the ultimate form of hypocrisy.

Well I didn't want to start out by calling a large majority of Americans idiotic simpletons but just turn on the idiot tube and see t.v. is dominated by shows such as Entertainment tonight, MTV reality shows (they all are horrible bottom of the barrel trash), TMZ, big brother and any other trashy smut show and we see the true I.Q. of the generalized American public. Hence why this country may never improve....

I didn't say it because it's a losing argument in most places, but I was definitely thinking it. If it wasn't for the "greedy businessmen," we wouldn't have (had?) the world's greatest economy, technology, etc. You want to know what a country without all the "greedy businessmen" looks like? I think they're called "third world" or something like that. It's not a coincidence that all the most successful countries in the world are full of "greedy businessmen" and none of them seem to take up abode in the least successful countries.

Could not agree more! And actually, I'd say that's why it's destined to get worse. These shows are teaching society how to behave, whether people admit it or not. It shows people it's ok to act like total drama queens and complete @#()$*%&...hell, you might even get a show out of it! The American Idols, Real Worlds, Rock of Loves, etc were bad enough with people acting like idiots, but now we have Bridezillas, Tool Academy, octomoms show, etc that just blatantly glorifies the idiocy and complete lack of consideration for fellow man. WantToTrade mentioned Idiocracy...I don't think were quite to that point yet, but if you watch a week's worth of primetime network television, we are definitely heading in that direction.

And not only are people watching these kind of shows instead of news, educational, informational programming, they're forming their political ideology based on want Flava Flav and Ashton Kutcher say...congratulations, you're an idiot.

And I'll be the first to call a large majority of Americans idiotic simpletons...the general public as a whole is ignorant.

which is exactly why we have the "Hope and Change" in the White House right now. The "MTV Generation" is becoming the majority. The reality shows and mindless TV have changed the reality of this nation. It started in the 90's. The democrats recognized this growing trend and have been capitalizing on it ever since. Rock the Vote and all of the Celebrity Hollywood vote crap have made it "cool" to vote. Unfortunately, all of the "cool" people are always pushing whatever the Hollywood liberal cause of the day is. It's dangerous because the majority of people that voted for Obama had no idea what they were voting for.

Good to see so many people agreeing with my sentiments. I expect to see you all vote for the Libertarian candidate and back up your words.
