I put the *** beside Calgary, becuase I actually beleive they'll have the 5th best record, but end up in 3rd because they'll be top of their division.

Phoenix last!?!? I think they'll challenge for a playoff spot, especialy with the signing of Robert Lang and assuming their young players like Mueller get better this season as well.

Pitts will be 4th They lost to much D in the off season.. Boston is a crap shoot and Washington is the Best in the East this year. GO CAPS!!

I dont know if some of you are blind or just hate them , but the Leafs will be better than the Islanders and the Panthers.
In fact , i can see them challenging a playoff spot and finished 8 or 9 in the East..
The rangers are so over-rated , their defense is one of the worst in the East

I don't understand how people think they're going to be so improved this year. They might actually be the team who scores the fewest goals. I like their defense core.... all 9 of them..... but the goal tending is suspect.
They will be fortunate not to finish last in their own division.... I stand by my picks: The Thrashers and Islanders will be worse, but that's about it (from the East).
