Was that not the sweetest OT goal that you have ever seen.

So far a great start to the season with two wins under their belt.

    1. - Your first goal shouldn't even have counted, pure goaltender interference

    2. - You can't a much luckier bounce than that. The only thing great about that play was Gionta's hand eye coordination, everything else, pure luck.

    3. - I will give credit to Carey Price (even though I hate him and still think he's ridiculously overrated) that he played a great game, and basically won that game for the Habs

    4. - Here we go again Sabres fans, it's gonna be a long year.

good call D-Rock. that OT goal was terrible. I will say it was great focus from Gionta, but still a terribly lucky bounce

    Talking

    Step one- type a reply

Step two- take a drink, and blink

Step three- click five times and black out

Step four- wake up seven minutes later and click again

    Sorry I couldn't resist.

Another two points on the road is fine by me.

If this is the Canadiens without chemistry, then look out.

Sportscardforum was being messed up, and was showing my posts weren't appearing. Therefore I tried again, and again, and again.

What's everyone talking about, Derrick only posted once lol...

As for the thread topic, yup a goal was lucky but it's a long season, eveyone gets lucky and unlucky bounces throughout it all, we were just lucky last night. I'm glad we won though, this was needed to settle everyone down after the Markov "tragedy"...

The reality is that the Habs have played 2 games, against non-playoff teams, and played exceptionally poorly. The wins came as a result of Carey Price playing way above his level of last year, and pure B.S. Luck.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy as anybody that they won. I just also realize that they need to start playing much, much better if they hope to continue winning.
4 points to start a season, against division rivals, on the road, is huge! Here's hoping they keep it up, and come home for their home opener up a few points on the B's, and a few games closer to Markov coming back.
