give up jaybird. You couldn't find a qualified scientist to convince drtom that the world was round if he thought it was flat. His scientists would be more qualified and yours would be stupid and biased, and didn't ask the right questions, and didn't meet his criteria for proof, etc.

This question can not be a yes or no question. It is not that simple. There is always that possiblity of grant money influencing outcomes. This is where knowing how to anaylze articles comes into play. By your statement how does anyone know anything?

Are you saying science is a conspircay theory? Are you saying scientists would state their reputation on giving false data? They would lose funding if their results were tampered with. They could never get a job again. I find it interesting that all the global warming deniers are people not in any field relating to the topic or have some secondary gain like money. The example of this is the BBC article. Mike forgot to tell me the gentlemen they were quoting had a private business forecasting the weather. Do you think he got any pubilicy from this? Also, his predictions were no more accurate then the genral weather man.
