Unofficial SCF Fantasy League Week 2 Write up/Discussion thread
Great week everyone, there were some surprises, some hoorahs and some whatever the opposite of hoorahs are. We'll start with this weeks award.
Awards:
Round of Applause:
This goes to tarheelsnipe because of his generous donation to our prize bucket, here they are. This award will be given for best out of game achievement of the week (good comment, best trash talking etc.) Here are his donations!

Biggest upset:
Goes to knucklez to taking down the person with the nuumber one draft pick, ranked near the best in the vote. And by a 12 to 1 margin, congrats!
Biggest Surprise:
Goes to Chris Kaman, on jbark's team, for putting up third most points and doing well in many other stats. Don't think anyone expected it and was a great break, even though he lost.
Best move:
Goes to ToGoodToBeStopped for picking up Delonte West off waiver from nba-fan. To good addition.
Worst Move: Same but flip it.
Best match-up: THe one between tarheelsnipe and Clevland Rock. Hard fought and they came out with a one point difference.
And now for the power rankings!
1. Vermont's Own Big Rig 12-0-1
2. Epic 11-0-2
3. LAL back to back 11-0-2
4. The_man 10-0-3
5. sportyryan 8-0-5
6. Salty Dawgs 7-0-6
7.xDrew 7-0-6
8.nbafan123 7-0-6
9. Clevland Rocks 6-0-7
10. Walter 6-0-7
11. Team Kardkid 6-0-7
12. ToGoodToBeStopped 5-0-8
13. Augustin 3-0-10
14. Canada 2-0-11
15. 305MIA 2-0-11
16. Paul to Wright 1-0-12
Suprising week the number one ranked team in the pre-season ends up last. Exiting times! (PS Kardkid you going down, hard!)
If you have any ideas for awards pm me and if you have any disputes put them in the forum I want some discussion.Last edited by The_man; 11-02-2009 at 10:57 AM.

Yeah, me and Cleveland Rocks were neck and neck the whole week. He had me beat in all the scoring categories, but I was winning all the other categories, so it came down to turnovers. We were virtually tied in the turnovers category on the final night I benched all 3 big men (Oden, Okafor, and Andersen). Turns out it was a good move. I ended up winning the turnover category and taking the 7-6 lead for the week.
