Thumbs down Receved Card in Small PWE and over charged for shipping

I just received a card that i bought in a small PWE and it cost the person only .44 cents to ship it.

the card was not in a sleeve or top loader.

person charged me 3.00 for shipping.

i e-mailed the person asking for a refrund of the shipping and here is what they said:

"I am sorry about that however the price that you paid for a card that comes out of a $80.00 pack of cards plus the top loader the envelope and me driving to the local post office I dont think you got hurt that is the reason I charge $3.00 for the shipping there is more than just postage charges involved.did the card come through alright no damage to the card most people charge between $3.00 and $5.00 for shipping and handlin"

i e-mailed him back saying sorry the card only sold for .99 cents, but there is no reason to send a card like that.

i dont want to leave negative feed back, what do yall think i should do?????

BTW being a seller myself i hate leaving negative feedback......Ive yet to do it......choice is yours but i would leave a neutral at worstBut then again if somebody messaged me i wouldnt have replied like he did either.....all it takes is one negative and then you lose alot of potential customers. Ive seen some people leave positives but say something like
He ships without any protection to the card

Its really messed up that people are doing that though
I do free shipping on everything.........

yeah, i told him how much i charge and what i do to protect all cards.

im just waiting to hear back from the person.

i think i he just mad cause i got the card for 99 cents and hes trying to get a little more money out of it.

Why wouldn't you want to leave negative feedback? He overcharged you for shipping, sent the card in a way that it could easily get damaged and his excuse was "the cards came from an $80 pack" I think negative feedback is well deserved for this guy.

I ussually leave no feedback for them......no matter how much they ask for me to leave feedback

i just checked and he charged 1.25 for shipping so thats not too bad. i just dont know why he couldnt slide the three little rc cards into one toploader or something

like i said choice is yours................i guess its not good for the hobby if we dont make people aware of what they are getting into....i just dont have the heart to do it over this amount of money. He will get his oneday though because somewhere along the line somebody is gonna say they did not receive it and when paypal ask for the dc number he will be screwed.........happend to me when i was selling mercury dimes and they wouldnt even sell for shipping with dc prices

I charge $2.95 and ship the card penny sleeved, top loader, sealed inside of a team bag and shipped via bubble mailer w/ delivery confirmation and still then that leaves enough for fees and "gas to get to the post office" I would say at the very least...leave a neutral. The sellers rational for the way they shipped is bogus IMHO.
