1st) Your right I can't expect somebody to believe based off of what happened to me, but it doesn't hurt anybody in trying.
2nd) No, all you said was a gun was involved... You didn't elaborate at all.

Again, I restate, it was a question, not an argument starter nor a persuasive attempt.
But here's another aspect to the "What if you're wrong?" question. In the Bible, it says that Christians who are alive on this earth when Jesus comes back will be taken up into the clouds to meet Him there. If we're both still alive when that day comes, and you notice on the news that millions of people are gone and no one who is a Christian on this thread posts to your arguments, what would you say (other than "hooray, my problem is solved")? Would you believe at that point, or blame a mass alien abduction? Again, just a question. No personal attacks on my relationship with God or on myself, please.

If mass numbers of people who all happened to be Christians all simultaneously, spontaneously vanished into thin air, I'd believe. Because that would be evidence that Christianity's supernatural claims were correct. At this time, no such evidence exists.

I would be curious to know what this horrific experience with Christians is that you keep alluding to. You use it as an excuse to hate on anyone whom you even remotely think is a Christian even tho they are not the one who did anything to you.
My personal opinion is that you are just like every other liberal nutjob. You scream "Tolerance! Tolerance! Tolerance!" unless it is someone you don't like then you become intolerant and start hatemongering towards them which just shows that the only difference between you and the rest of the bigots is that you left your white hood at home.
You hate me. I get it and quite frankly I could give a diddly. You and your hate filled rhetoric are as useless and ineffective as a downwind fart. The fact that you waste so much time arguing this same point over and over is baffling to me. Not once in all of these pointless threads have you ever convinced one person that you are right and they are wrong, yet you keep stirring the pot.
I for one am going to stop even reading these stupid posts and hope that you find somewhere else to be insulting.

I never scream any such thing. You're just like every other conservative nutjob, because you stereotype everyone you don't like. Christians like you are always whining about how you're being persecuted by everyone else because everyone else won't lie down for you and let you persecute them. I don't tolerate anyone who's a danger to society no matter how much the unwashed veggie-chompers who are unfortunately on my side of the fence insist that I should. And I have equally little tolerance for them as I have for you. So go ahead, ignore me. I'll really be devastated. No, I don't do what I do for your benefit. I do it for MY benefit, because my conscience wouldn't allow me to do otherwise.
I'm just going to leave you with a quote I admire from the great Bob Marley: "The people who are trying to make this world worse are not taking a day off. How can I?"

It looks like his reason is personal experience based on a subsequent post. People will complain a lot about something until it's remedied in their eyes, whether it's religious intolerance or some other kind of intolerance.
For instance, I used to complain a lot about being called ugly, a dyke, too masculine, etc. I got it from both sides. Men didn't like me because I wasn't 36/24/36 with blond hair, blue eyes, collagen lip injections, and breast implants, and women disliked me because I liked too many "guy" things such as sports/weightlifting, video games, scientific research, progressive rock music, and beer. But when I found a guy who liked me, I stopped complaining about that so much.
GBM just hasn't met many less preachy Christian types. My fiance also used to be annoyed by them constantly and made similar rants, but then he met me and his rants decreased, as my rants aimed at a different demographic did. The rants were different, but again, they were remedied, so we found reason to make them less often.

You're so deep GBM... Too bad Bob Marley was referencing people like you as "the people trying to make this world worse". You have more hate in your heart than anybody I've ever heard of; Mao, Stalin, and Hitler would all be very impressed with you.

First off, I find this statement very ironic. Second, why do you waste your own time argueing the same points versus everyone elses same points. If anything that shows a lack of confidence in your own beliefs because you have to constantly put down others beliefs and not just be content in yours. Honestly if you know your right there is nothing to argue. Just from what i've seen from all your threads, I know that Christianity is not your problem and I think you need to focus on whatever the real problem is and stop making this online sports card website your scapegoat.

I don't know if it's further than that because that's all that seems to really bother him based on his posting history.
He's fortunate that it's just one thing that's so alienating, though. Or maybe not - some people have gotten enough varied ridicule and taunting over the years to become immune to it, even humorous about it, rather than constantly frustrated by it. That, and they found some kewl people along the way to make them forget about it when needed.
