Set building question
I want to put together a set for my collection, I have decided to change my "office" at home and make it into a hockey room. I would have the cards in a display case. Here are a few guidelines for the set:
1) AUTOGRAPH CARDS
2) Cards must be vertical, not horizontal
3) A good mix of players, some stars like Sid, AO, etc. and some common players
4) NOT FROM THE CUP
5) No more than 50 cards
6) Nice design that would look nice displayed
7) No unknown cards, lol
Anyway, let's hear some input!
Here are a few of the potential sets that I would consider:
2006-07 Flair Showcase Inks - could work, MAYBE
2007-08 Be A Player Dual Autogrpahs - 46 cards, good size...
2007-08 UD Trilogy Ice Scripts - 53 cards, could work...hopefully
2008-09 Artifacts Autofacts - 100 cards, PERFECT size.
2008-09 UD Trilogy Young Star Scripts - 46 cards, nice size
Right now I kind of want to do the Ice Scripts. What do you guys think?Last edited by HammerHawks; 12-27-2009 at 06:44 PM.

It's a nice set for sure, but it's very popular, so if the money is a consideration, it might be expensive

Don't like the Masterpieces design, not really a fan of it. Glacial Graphs is an awesome set and great desgin, but it is horizontal.

I would say 2007-08 Ultimate collection ultimate signatures but it does have the 14 Unlisted SP's Which would make it a total of 58 cards

I would have considered it, but the SPs are WAY too expensive and too hard to find. Want it to be relatively easy, not like half are SPs. Don't want it to be SUPER easy though.
