Yeah Fisher has played with a lot of heart this year and would have taken him over Morrow.

I like davescards 1st line better than mine and would change my 2nd line to
Iginla Getzlaf Nash (might even be a better than Crosby's line)

I don't see why people are hating on Morrow... He's a Cam Neely type player who can create room in the slot and in front of the net. He's also a prolific scorer and can kill penalties... It think he was a great pick. My only wish was to have Shane Doan on the team. But I wouldn't remove anyone to put him on there ;-)

Morrow is a good player and fits into the checking line well I guess. Maybe i'm just bored of hearing his name...I dunno.

Too bad for Fisher....now he has to keep Carrie warm over the break!

Laughable some of these picks.. no Stamkos, Bouwmeester or St. Louis. At least this gives team USA a chance!!

For the first time, in a long time, I actually agree with most of the picks.

The goalies were no-brainers. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Luongo doesn't have to play in any pressure situations.

The top-6 Defenseman, are exactly who I would have taken. I'm expecting the pairings to be:
Pronger / Neidermayer
Keither / Seabrook
Weber / Boyle

I probably would have taken JayBo over Doughty, but I'm not going to argue about the 7th defenseman.

The forwards lines I picture are:
Crosby / Nash / Iginla
Heatley / Thornton / Marleau
Perry / Getzlaf / Staal
Toews / Richards / Morrow

with the spare being Bergeron.

Swapping out Richards for Fisher, and Bergeron for Smyth (and Smyth being on the 4th line, with Morrow being the spare) would have made things the way I wanted..... but again, I won't complain that the 12th and 13th forwards arn't the guys I would have chosen.

I guess we will have to see how it works out. Fisher and Stamkos should have been there and i think the D should have been a litle different but i may be biased. I cant wait to see what happens, Basically i would have done the same as 30ranford fan but stamkos instead of Smyth, And Smyth over Morrow

I think a lot of the players I see here that everyone believes should've been there, are 1 dimentiential players... Stamkos is having a great season, but he lacks D... St. Louis is the same... Fisher is having a great season too, but 1 season doesn't put you on team canada... Ryan Smyth has had his time, he's been loyal, but we need more energy.

With the Defense, I have to agree with all the picks. The only person I would've taken amongst the bunch picked would have to be Mike Green. His offense is too hard to ignore, but he's a 1 way player as well even though he is Defense.

Boumeester, Phaneuf, Regher, are all fantastic picks, but I believe they never wanted the best "on paper" defense, and they wanted to go with tough, 2 way, defense first D men... And I think they made the right choices.

The Goalies are obvious so no need to discuss.
