ACL stands for anterior cruciate ligament - it's one of the major ligaments in your knee.

Yea, Alot of Abriveations in sports. If you ever here ACL about a player 9/10 it usally means there season is done. Just now starting to get back into basketball. So im still learning the play of the game as well.
I'm Glad the Spurs have some new talent evolving, seeing Tony Parker and Ginobli was the last time I was really into the game.

He was a STUD in college. I don't want to jump on the "I knew all along" wagon, but the numbers don't surprise me.

I'm glad the Spurs took a chance on him. He really wants to play and gives them much needed energy. It's the ultimate low risk, high reward considering they have a couple big prospects. One dropped 15 and 9 in his first NBA game in a couple years.
btw, who was the last rookie to do 20-20?

You guys keep on talking about him not having ACL's.....did you know that Hines Ward doesn't have an ACL in his left knee? He's played in the NFL for 12 years now and is the most physical WR in the game. I wouldn't be so quick to say that Blair will only play a few years in the NBA.

Not sure. I was thinking maybe Dwight? Quite a feat though. Especially for a guy standing 6'7" ..... Maybe

I thought it was Timmy and I was right.
Rookie “center” DeJuan Blair, all 6-foot-7 of him, was the latter. Afforded a bigger role when Popovich decided to rest Tim Duncan on the second night of the back-to-back, Blair responded with 28 points and 21 rebounds, both season highs.
In doing so, Blair became the first NBA rookie to post a 20-20 game since Duncan had 26 points and 21 boards in a March 22, 1998, game against Phoenix.
