Lol, I saw that one too and wouldn't even consider putting an offer on something so overpriced. Even if it was a true 1/1 it's still only Ian
White (don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of his) and his cards don't sell for $300. I've seen lots of cards that I want that people overprice, I know most of the time they'll accept around half of the asking price if you offer it to them but imo anyone who wants to make a pig of themselves won't get a second look from me. Furthermore if everyone else did that too it would help get rid of the overpricing and might even help with the price of packs/boxes/cases. How much do you think it costs ud to make a tin of The Cup and how much do we pay for it (retail)? All I'm trying say is we allow this to happen. When the staff at my lcs tell me about guys coming in and spending lots of cash on boxes that they open right at the store then tell the staff not to tell thier wives that they were there. Then they either sell all the cards back at a small fraction of the bv or have to give them to the staff to hang on to the cards till they can sneak them home when their wife's not there. Lol, I know I'm kinda jumping around on the subject but there is a definite underlying addiction involved in the hobby that no-one likes to talk about. You have to remember that it's only a piece of paper and it's ok to own it but don't let it own you. Try and keep it fun after all it's just a hobby.Collecting:Leafs Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Conacher, Horner, Broda, Bower, Clark, Gilmour and others.

Thanks, I'm kinda expecting to get torn apart for saying that but sometimes you have to stick your neck out if you want something to change.

I would think if the autograph is suppose to be a "on card" auto, then there should be little or no price difference.
Now, if you are talking a "sticker" autograph, then forget it. Anyone could pull the sticker off.
So....
On Card - NO difference
Sticker - Throw it away.Randy

Won't Isopropyl wipe off Sharpie autos anyway? It may dull the card, too, but thee was a thread about someone wiping a card and getting a personalized auto in person.

I had a Darryl Sydor "auto" that wasn't auto'd and I got $0.99 for it, lol.
You can rub off any sticker auto...instant error! If I saw a Jordan Staal auto that was supposed to be hard signed but had no sig, I go after it but wouldn't break the bank for it. It would just be a cool little item.
What about cards with no serial number. I got the Staal Premier Penmanship with no serial # on it. Got it really cheap too. The only one I've seen.

I'd have to say less, especially it is supposed to be a hard-sign by a prominent player like Crosby or a HoF like Gretzky.
UD I know made a few errors on the Sundin Ice Scripts and some UD Black Game-Night Ticket autos. These incidents are due to carelessness by the card company (UD in this case) of not doing a simple visual verification.

I remember when a dual Howe Yzerman AU was blank on ebay. I can't remember if that was the one they never included in a set, or it was just an extra copy.
