I'd expect nothing less from such a proud apologist for corporate evil as yourself.
Because OPT is CEO and stock owner of every company in the US and stands to benefit from it. I can hear him now laughing, "....Mwaaa Haaa haaa! Now that campaign finance is gone I will be rich!!! Rich I tell you!!!"
Just to make my position clear, I don't think businesses OR unions should be allowed to make contributions to campaigns for public office.
Yes, but as long as Democrats benefit you remain quiet and have no problems with it. Once Republicans benefit it must be evil and stopped! You may want to look in the mirror because all the slams you throw OPT ways should be directed at yourself.

A good quote from Jusice Kennedy writing for the majority:
"When government seeks to use its full power, including the criminal law, to command where a person may get his or her information or what distrusted source he or she may not hear, it uses censorship to control thought," Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote for the majority. "The First Amendment confirms the freedom to think for ourselves."

True, they should be allowed to donate, but shouldn't it be regulated somehow? I mean, it only encourages already crooked politicians to feel more indebted to corporations shoving money their way. Perhaps a large tax on it?

Not unless it leads to the corporate-feudalist society I fear above all else but which you would probably love.

You obviously don't know what OPT does for a living.
Yes, but as long as Democrats benefit you remain quiet and have no problems with it. Once Republicans benefit it must be evil and stopped! You may want to look in the mirror because all the slams you throw OPT ways should be directed at yourself.
I vote this for Ironic Post of the Year. You're one to talk, Private Pyle, since you so proudly denounce anything the Democrats do, even if (perhaps ESPECIALLY if) Republicans have done the very same thing in the past. You don't really care what happens to America as long as your little clique and its masters in the private sector are free to do whatever they want.

Which is highly unlikely...so isn't it fair to say that he's grossly exaggerating, much in the same vein as what people (including you) hate Fox News for, even to the point that it's very offensive in that it downplays slavey?

That's the whole purpose of America. Free will and personal responsibility is great until the government mandates union jobs that cost more then the private sector and your city/state/country goes bankrupt.

It's a terrible ruling by a right leaning court and I fear how they will rule in the NFL ruling now.
It is the end of democracy as we know it and now unions/business will elect the politicians even more then they do.
Now foreign corp. like Citgo and Chavez can seriously decide the elections.. This is the worst ruling in the history of the court and now even republicans as well as corportions are speaking out against it..

You know nothing about the court system if you think the court leans to the right. I suggest reading Men In Black written by Mark Levin.
Chuck Schumer sound bites will only get you so far in life. I hope this is the end of democracy and any form of an oligarchy.
