I don't think RGM81 is trying to be arrogant in fact when I read his post I see no arrogance at all. I think you are maybe being a little sensitive and reading too much into it.

I wouldn't call it arrogance, and I'll agree Canada is the hockey capital of the world and that probably 75% of ITG products are opened in Canada, but USA still won the WJCS and THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS NOTHING YOU CAN SAY WILL MAKE ME THINK OTHERWISE EVEN THE FACT CANADA WON THE LAST 5 WCJS, USA WON THIS YEAR WEINER-NEINER-NEINER :)

That's a completely arrogant statement. There are all levels of interest all around the world, just b/c you're Canadian doesn't mean you know more about hockey than anyone else. Completely stupid.

You're entitled to your opinion and that's fine. There are many Canadians that indeed do know nothing about hockey. The fact that I know more about hockey than some people is what means I know about hockey than some other people, and that crosses a lot of borders. The fact that I'm Canadian is not incidental to that knowledge of the game.
When you look at the great majority of the teams that are included in Heroes and Prospects, where are they based? Canada. The set is largely based off of Canada's junior teams that comprise the Canadian Hockey League. It's not arrogant for me to acknowledge a truth - most die-hard hockey fans who collect H&P are Canadian. That doesn't mean there aren't Americans, Latvians, Swiss, Belorussians, etc. that love this set and collect it and know their hockey. It's great that a tournament that millions of Canadians have lovingly followed and watched almost religiously for 20 years is now being watched in the United States.
If you're offended, I do apologize because that wasn't my intent. But I stand by every word I said.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

And hats off to you guys for it - it was a tremendous game and the better team won. We'll see what happens next year in Buffalo!

I agree with RGM, it is primarily Canadas game. Im not saying it "belongs to Canada" but i believe that per capita, more Canadians follow hockey than any other country. Im not sure if i know a person who has never seen/played a game of hockey.

Just opened 2 boxes and really impressed with the quality, the game used, and the autos. I really look forward to reading up on the players I dont know and furthing improving my knowledge of the game. I was surprised as I opened the cards how many of the guys I actually knew and was kind of quizzing myself guessing when they had been picked and by who.

Great product and it wont be the last time i break this stuff.

Thanks for everyones thoughts on this
