Are Laker fans allowed to post in this thread?

Seriously, what's the status of KG? He doesn't look like himself. If he rested his knee some more, would the knee get better? I kind of agree with Doc's thinking when he sat KG out. Better to sacrifice a few wins now & have him healthy for the playoffs. Don't you think?

Absolutely :-) Just don't talk about that four-letter word in here...begins with a K and ends with an "obe"
I'm honestly not too sure...they say that it's just sore, but I'm thinking it's giving him a bit more of an issue than he's letting on...I just hope that he doesn't overplay and end his career...I would be sorely disappointed if that happened!
On another note, the Celtics are supposedly looking to trade Ray Allen for a younger expirer, so they could possibly resign him to a contract over the offseason...Ray-Ray wants to end his career with the Celtics, but understands the feeling may not be mutual...not sure why it wouldn't be if he has a cheaper contract...I think any team would want a Ray Allen on their team!

who would you guys want to come in and take over once Ray and KG are done?
They need to draft better or keep their draft picks....I mean Boston has had good drafts and just bad drafts....

Of course! I enjoy talking hoops with any sensible fan. I think we need him now. He played so well tonight! His jumper is very consistent and with the lack of depth we already have, I don't think we can take that hit.

Well, Glen Davis will be taking over for KG...he showed he can handle it in last year's playoffs...as for Ray-Ray, I think that's why they are shopping him...if they can get someone younger, then they can resign him and have him as the SG of the future, because as of right now, there isn't any great option for the future on the team.

I disagree. If TA just got some solid minutes I think he can earn a starting spot and compliments Rondo very well. Pierce is listed as day to day now, so hopefully he won't be out too long! The Celtics need to get a streak going to turn the momentum around, hopefully they can grab a win tomorrow night against the Heat.

Even Paul said that they need to start winning now. They can't wait till the playoffs to turn it on. As a fan, I have to agree. We can't keep losing...

TA is only a few years younger than Ray-Ray though...he could start for a few years, but he isn't the future at SG, IMO.
And yeah, I'd like to see the Celtics turn this slump around sooner rather than later...they need to have a streak started up here soon...the All-Star break will do them well, I think.

Well TA is 7 years younger than Ray and Ray played many more minutes in those early years.
The Cs managed to pull of another win against Miami last night! Another win Friday would be great considering we play Oralndo Sunday.

Wow, I thought they were only 4 or 5 years apart...I thought TA was 30, or almost 30...just turned 28...well, then yeah, he probably could take over for a few years...5-6 years even.
Friday's game should be a win...we play the Nets...at least I hope it's a win!
