Probably #2, unless Wally's injury hurts the Cavs pretty good....then again, I'd have to look at their remaining schedules before I make a educated guess.

Celtics - 11 games remain, 2 tough games (Magic, Cavs). Worst they go is 9-2, which would give them a 62-20 record. Best would be 64-18.
Cavs - 13 games remain, 3 tough games (Magic, Spurs, Celtics). Then there are the final 2 games, which they may rest their starters if they lock up home court. Worst they go is 8-5, which would give them a 61-21 record. Best record would be 69-13.
My prediction: Cavs end the season with a 2 game edge on the Celtics.

Wally's not that important, lol.
Look at how bad the Cavs handed it to the Hawks today (who came in on a 7 game winning streak). They were up 40-16 halfway through the second, and up 16 going into the 4th, where the reserves played the entire quarter. (The only reason the score was even remotely close.)
On topic though, there's no way Orlando gets the #2 seed from Boston. Cleveland should be the #1.

Didn't see the game, but I'll take your word for it

No way the Magic overtake either team...they are a lock for #3, but no higher and no lower. Cavs and Celtics will duke it out for who gets which seed. Should be a fun last 3 1/2 weeks!

Hey guys! Thought this thread needed an update with the season starting. The Celts are 3-0 and have looked great on the defensive end. Sheed, Daniels, House, and SHELDON WILLIAMS have looked great. Garnett still has some rust to shake off, but he looks like he's back to 100%. With big wins over Cleveland and Chicago already, I smell a big winning streak to start the season.

Let's hope so! I hope the Celtics sign Rondo this weekend, I feel like he is the most important piece on this team. Not to many point guards these days would just attempt two shots and dish out 16 dimes.

lol, there are now 2 Celtics threads (this one and the one I created for this season)...oh well...
Rondo's dishes looked wicked last night...surprised he wasn't the leader on dimes though, as Nash got 20!
