This is the same content I posted at another forum.
Hope to be a bit help to you if you are interested in Big Shot Rob Cerified autograph =)
There is no NBA cerified(like UD and Skybox etc.) Robert Horry autograph
================================================== ==========
That's the reason why I got those silver and gold sig like that as dupe. =)
Only below 3 version exist.
- 1992 Starpic autograph (I have 2 cards)
- 1992 Classic autograph (I have 1 card)

- 1992 Front Row Autograph => not mine

Interesting thing is BV is just 5-10$. But SV is not like that.
(IF SV is 5-10$ as real, I would buy all of them without hesitate !)
Even IP autograph buying is not easier than other player as my experience.
(If someone is interested in..)
Here is link of my Horry autographs (I have also bought IP autograph because there are no cerified NBA autograph.)

I am a little surprised to hear that Horry does not have any NBA-certified auto. I can't think of any though and you would know better than I do regarding him. I don't know why Skybox did not include him in their Autographics sets. Those sets are huge and have some players who are barely known (Zan Tabak, Travis Best, etc..).
Horry was definitely an underrated and underappreciated player. Perhaps that's why. He was a role player but he had good length and athleticism. Most importantly he was one of those guys who could keep cool and hit the big shot in crunch time. I remember one of the Sac. Kings/L.A. Lakers playoff games years ago (semifinals?) when all the Kings(1st time in the semifinals?) except Bibby were choking and shooting airballs in the final minutes of regulation and overtime.

Thanks =)
Yah, That might be reason many of people(non-Robert Horry fans) prefer Starpic autograph.
Thanks =)
Yah, you are right. If there are Travis Best, Voshon Lenard, George Mccloud, Zan Tabak, etc. in 1996-97 Skybox Autographics, Robert Horry might have to be released there.
But as my experience, Robert Horry looks he doesn't like to sign.
(Of course, he was a great person though.)

And for Big Shot Rob 's talent and his clutch, his greatness reflect in Lakers and Spurs Era.
This Clutch might be you commented. =)
But as Big Shot Rob Fan(and Big Shot Rob also said this at Offline Interview when he visited my country.), I think his prime time started from Rockets era. =)
Only from PO ;)
Thanks, Jake =)
I don't think Panini will not be able to release Big Shot Rob's autograph.
As my experience, he looks he doesn't care anything. Not like many NBA players. Interesting thing is he didn't attend Nike show. Tim Hardaway and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar were there, though.
Not all but Many cases NBA players autograph reflect his financial status.
For example, Scottie Pippen autographed too much.
Then we realized Pip failed his bussiness.
At least, Big Shot Rob doesn't look like that. Of course, we don't know future though..
P.S. : I didn't notice you subscribed here. David.
Welcome to SCF. =)Last edited by nbacard; 02-08-2010 at 02:24 AM.
