But most of the swiss players have no experience in shootouts... and almost all of them have never faced Brodeur. So the Canadians have a advantage in the shootout in that sense. There might have been a different result if there was more OT ?

Im not sure what your getting at here, its not like the Swiss outplayed Canada. The shots were lop sided in Canadas favour and 1 of Switzerlands goals was a shot that deflected in off of a Canadians skate.

I WILL single out one player. Dan Boyle has been abysmal in the two games.

I agree, dude needs to hit the net with a point shot once in a while.

All i'm saying is I think it's sad that the game went to OT then even a SO... and the canadians had a advantage in the shootout you agree?

Brodeur let in a soft one and then Hiller stood on his head, I am not liking the chemistry of this team so far...hope it will get better, not sure if it could be any worst..They need to put Luongo in net IMO, Brodeur is a fantastic goalie but he isn't getting younger, time to pass on the torch. Russia will be a tough to beat this year...

I think Canada was too passive in their physical play. Alot of shots, but nobody willing to give up the body in front of the net......Coaching was suspect too. Crosby, Richards, Nash should have been out WAY more than what they were. Nash is the fastest big man in the tournament. Pronger and Niedermayer are both showing their age and lack of speed which I thought affected Doughty. Every Swiss rush looked dangerous, Canada did not look dangerous. If they can't pump themselves up for the game against the U.S. They are in HUGE trouble. The passing was horrible as well. I don't know why they pass so much. Drive to the net with your size and make it ugly.

At first I was embarrassed. Then it dawned on me that sometimes a hot goalie can squash the dreams of even the best of teams. I'm not embarrassed anymore. The right team won.

    Team Switzerland IS Jonas Hiller.

.......Im not gonna say its sad....Switzerland played well and they deserved to bring it to the shoot out and maybe thats just me being a typical Canadian and standing behind my team no matter what. I dont know why you keep talking about having an advantage in the shoot out, Canada had an advantage for the entire game, they are a team of superstars and the Swiss' roster cannot even come close to matching them on paper but they played their system and brought the game to a shoot out. I thought you American guys learned this in 1980 its not always the best team on paper that comes away with the victory fortunately tonight we did but just by the skin of our teeth.

Brodeur was excellent tonight. The first goal was a beauty shot. Perfect in every way. The second goal was a deflection off a skate in front. He stopped all shooters in the shootout. Awesome.

Also...what happened to the Swiss shooter after Getzlaf? Did they just switch up the rotation after 3 shooters?
