UD Statement Regarding BAP Rookie Redemptions
I'm sure many folks have received their BAP Rookie Redemptions already and have noticed that they do not correspond with the cards they believed they were going to get when they saw the checklist and entered their codes. Some people who thought they were getting scrubs got Tavares rookies and are thrilled, while those who thought they pulled/bought a Tavares wound up with scrubs and are justifiably furious.
Here's UD's statement, via their Facebook page:
"As many of you are aware who received these cards there was a production problem with our vendor where the wrong codes were placed on some cards. We are reviewing this situation currently to gauge the scope of the problem and have put a hold on shipping any more at this time. Rest assured, we will resolve this for our collectors to make sure everyone is taken care of. Look for an announcement on this program in the next 1-2 weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience."
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

So true it is funny talking to their customer service reps because they keep giving you different stories and it seems everyone gets different service. Like with the roller marked YG cards I heard some people got bonuses of MVP rookies with their replacements but when I phoned and asked about that the guy said you just should get the replacement YG and nothing else which is what happened for me. Nothing for my trouble of having to ship the cards to them and wait a long to get them replaced.

It's truly unfortunate that they don't have a dedicated hockey team that only deals with and knows hockey. There's another thread on this page in which a guy got his response from one of the Entertainment product reps. Ya think that fellow knows diddly about the status of a hockey redemption program?
I have long maintained that if a person receives good customer service they'll tell a handful of their friends; if they get back customer service they'll tell all of them. I can't help but notice the high volume of negative customer service experiences, and it really is a shame. I'm not an UD guy, I'm not an ITG guy, I am *hobby* guy. I love some products put out by each company, and am less fond of others by each company. I believe that when both manufacturers are working hard to serve us and our needs, all of us benefit. I know that UD's going through a lot right now but this kind of stuff is only exacerbating the problem that a lot of people have with them.
