wow...UFC on Versus Spoiler Alert
So, is there anyone left who doubts Dos Santos or Jon Jones? Dos Santos and Jones both responded to their biggest challenges yet by destroying their respective opponents! Just wow. Unfortunately I was at church and have had to catch the replays on youtube but man, these guys are both legit. I don't think there is a heavyweight who can take a punch from dos santos.

Great fights. I was fist pumping when Dos Santos tko'd Gonzaga. Caught him with a nice left. "Bones" Jones, wow! Such a loud elbow to the face a Vera. I can't wait to see who they fight next. Look out boys.
This weekend should be good too. I'll be ordering it for sure.

I was really wishing they were going to show Brendan Schaubs 47 second KO. Oh well. He did an amazing job also. Great free UFC though; really good fights.

The problem I have is how long its taking for these outstanding athletes to receive their respective title fights. Lesnar (who is the bigest punk in mma...besides nate diaz) had 2 fights before a shot at the title. Meanwhile you have JDS (who is a mutant by the way) tearing @$$ thru every opponent and will STILL have to go thru Cain for his title fight.
Now Jones on the other hand has had some closer fights and I do agree he needs to fight Bader who is also on a TEAR before either gets their shot at the title. The only injustice the UFC could do to either of these fighters is allowing the winner of Jackson v. Evans to have a title shot first.

JDS wont fight Cain, Cain is going to be on hold for the next shot or the one after. JDS shouldnt of had a title shot yet, the only top 10 fighter he had beaten before tonight was Werdum and that was in his first fight. The way they have been handling him is perfect.
As for Jones, he would destroy Bader but I wouldnt mind seeing it. Jones is only 22 there is no rush, but with another domination over a top fighter its going to start to get harder to deny him.

Yeah, that was a great night! Seemed like all of the fights went the way I wanted them to, and we got to see some devastating blows. Thumbs up to the UFC for the great night of FREE fights! So pumped up for next weekend!!! Would love to see Carwin knock Mir into next month!

I completely disagree.
Dos Santos deserves a title fight just as much if not more than Cain. The "quality" of fighters JDS has been paired with shouldnt be an issue seeing as how he made Cro-Cop QUIT and another PRIDE champion in Yvel he played with for about a minute before decimating him... and now another mismatch in Gonzaga. The next title fight is just as much JDS' as it is Cain's.
Jonny Bones is a mismatch for anyone not named Anderson Silva at this point. I think Bader has a better chance against him than Vera did though. Vera is very slightly built and although he had an equal reach to Jones, his skillset is subpar. Bader IS without a doubt a better wrestler and he has extremely heavy hands. Id be more entertained by a matchup with those two duking it out for the next title shot. I also think age has very little to do with whether you are worthy of a title shot. BJ Penn was 23 when he had his first title shot against Pulver.

I think you have to let cain and dos santos fight. I know the UFC would like to find a way to avoid it so that it would line up multiple big name title fights in a row but it would be unfair to dos santos at this point to not put him at equal ground as cain.
also, the jones bader fight would be a very solid fight and makes the most sense out side of putting jones in with a contender which they won't want to do yet.

I have heard through a few places that the winner of Vera/Jones would more in likely face Thiago Silva around June/July.
I think Dos Santos/Cain is th eonlyfight that makes sense right now. Winner of Mir/Carwin will face Brock in July-ish...have Dos Santos/Cain fight right around that same time (June-August)..and that is perfect timing, for the winners to face in Fall. November/December (end of year show)
