I would call them. They can take weeks/months to answer emails. Calling them may take 30 mins to get through, but you talk to someone directly.

If you check the Customer Service page on Upper Deck's website their phone # has disappeared! I need to call them about something and I never email them because it takes forever for a response.

Whether or not that person is helpful or even speaks logically is another matter.

Sorry but I can't call. I'm not comfortable enough to call in english, I'm good in english but I still have some work to do to have a good conversation with someone in english.

Same thing happened to me on one of my artifacts rookie redemptions. I started scratching and only some of the numbers appeared. I luckily guessed a couple digits and got them. But yeah I know exactly where you are coming from.

It doesn't really matter how much money you spent that still must be a horrible experience. I hope this doesn't turn you off UD and redemptions forever

Its happened numerous times to me, once you contact them they were more than willing to replace the card and send your redemption. Emailing them now however isn't a good idea, seems as though they are on permanent lunch break.

Just wanted to chime in i had the same thing happen to me. I could see the first 2 and last characters but couldn't see the middle, tried to get around it and ended up ruining it. I emailed UD, it took them awhile but they emailed me back and asked for scans of the card. About a week went by and they said my "case" had been forwarded to some other department. I figured that was the end of that, but then a few days later i got another email asking me to mail them the card. Soooo, we'll see...

As one other in the thread said, DON'T SCRATCH THEM. You're supposed to just peel the silver label off, not scratch it. Although sometimes the letters/numberes can come off with the label. Not too difficult to guess them though.
