Take away both of UD's licenses and lets see how sweet their cards look then.

How does ITG get dragged into a thread titled "Panini vs. Upper Deck" in the first place? There's really no need to be taking shots at ITG in this context.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Agreed. Let's stick to the subject of the thread.

I am interested to see what Panini has for high end product (maybe i will check their Basketball high end to get an idea)
There has been so much product i do not find worth collecting i have kept myself to cracking products like The Cup and Ultimate. Even these products i am cracking less and buying singles more.
I think the market has been saturated with game used memorabilia and autos.
Bring back the good ole days when i was kid and there was only Topps and OPC and i was able to do both hockey and baseball sets.
Hopefully Panini can bring something new to the hockey table (do not bring back parallel madness of Pacific brands thanks)

Well since they have the Pacific name and are release sets under Crown Royale and other former Pacific sets I'm sure parallel madness will be back though Upper Deck does the same thing with Artifacts and OPC now.

I went and checked out a couple of Panini basketball products Timeless treasures and Absolute memorabilia. Some of the goodies in there are sticker autos which i tend to shy away from so it will be singles unless they change their ways. I stopped buying baseball all together when sticker autos became the norm for high end baseball products.

oh come on, we all know any thread titled with any of the manufacturers brings them all to the table this is not the first or last one
now, if i was to say ITG is the best i love them you would have no qualms about that at all ... so hilarious how speaking anything negative about ITG will get you swarmed or suspended but it is totally fine to say the same things about UD

Do you know anyone that been banned here for speaking how they feel about ITG? I know some folks love their product while others don't.
Also, on a footnote your response said their designs are boring. The first post just calls into question that UD and ITG are not on a level playing field. Hence, what the member stated see what UD could do if you could get a license.
To take that further if you want value in rookies there no way ITG can compete as they do not have the rookie cards due to the license. Another big reason folks like UD over ITG. Yet as you state UD customer service is not top billing while ITG has a much better success rate in taking care of things when something goes wrong from the rants I seen over the years.
Your entitled to your opinion but when you state yours shouldn't others be able to state theirs. I don't see you getting banned for sharing yours. As the hockey manager Dr. Price can vouch for me not getting rid of folks on the boards. As there was one member he wanted gone from the boards hence why we did not have a association. Of course not doing led that member to be a surprising super collector of only ITG product even though he was not at first. Amazing how things change hence I see no merit in your argument about banning. So if you have facts to share on that regard let me know I would be more than willing to look into your accusations.
Enjoy the cards you enjoy as that your choice. Much like you can enjoy the site of your choice. There something out there for evreryone.

I would be happy to see what Panini brings to the Hobby. An alternative is always welcome. UD may smarten up, and become competitive, and creative again. The alternative for them would be less revenues, and more Panini loyalty from collectors, depending upon if Panini is up to task.
Always a competition will make a difference here, and each will want to try and outdo each other for design, collation, and Player manifests in their sets.
For me personally, this season, I set out to buy at least a box of everything, and so far have done that. of course Upper Deck is the main choice, and I have opened ITG products, but next season, I will be a little more savvy on what I open, and it will for me at least what will come down to what appeals to my collection habits. I think I will continue the main UD series one and two again. Whatever Panini's main set is, and what I feel would acquire decent trade value for my player wants.Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd

assumptions should not be made ... never once did i say anything about SCF doing the banning (better yet, i never once said BAN see: suspended) i was referring to another site where you get chastized for your opinions
and yes, i am quite aware the restrictions ITG has ... someone makes that VERY clear in most of their responses
my apologies if you misinterpreted my original post
