You know what I love most about this? For the first time in almost a decade I have ZERO clue where the Kings will pick in the draft!

You never go to any of the games you say you are! Besides you'll be in BC by then right?

Well a 6 hour drive KINDA is a deterrant. And ACTUALLY BC is a no go for at least another year. I'm trying to move to LA to go to a JC for a year. THEN I'll actually go to kings games.

Doesn't matter, they still made out like bandits. Hall or Seguin and probably a top 10 pick next year too.

I disagree. With the Leafs trading two 1sts for Kessel, we got a current All-Star and Olympian. He is NHL ready and the Leafs knew exactly how he performs at the highest level being only 23 years old. Neither Hall or Seguin have played an NHL game while they likely will both become great players, it will take a year or two to get used the NHL and their game could drop like Patrick Steffan or Alexandre Daigle. People will always say "would have, should have, could have", but Burke had to make a move to boost the confidence in the fans and get a true first liner.

    Here's my 2 cents:
I think they should draft Seguin because he is more of a complete player he plays both D and O and is a great playmaker where Hall is a goal scorer and that's not a bad thing but Seguin can score goals too but he can play D too.
    Again just my 2 cents

No. Wrong. Taylor Hall is actually solid defensively too. He's not Nikita Filatov, who just cherry picks until he gets the puck. While Hall might not ever play on the PK, I don't think there's really any difference between the two defensively.

As a life long Oilers fan..... I'm willing to buy into the idea that Seguin is a more "complete" player..... and had they fallen to the #2 spot, he would have been a nice consolation prize.

Taylor Hall is the better scorer. He's the rarer talent. You take him every single time over Seguin, because he's the guy you'll never be able to acquire without drafting.

If they don't draft Hall at #1, I'm going to be upset.

I do agree with the sentiment - Hall and Eberle both make more sense at wing than at centre. So what? If the best player available is a wing, you take the wing anyway. The Oilers currently lack talent at centre? Yes they do. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this..... they lack talent everywhere.

Take the best player available, and solve your organizational need at other positions by another means.

Something tells me come hell or high water the Bruins WILL get Hall. If they have to give TO's 2nd Round pick or a prospect(s) they will. This season has been too much of a "disapointment" for Chia to not get the scoring winger the B's need.

    Taylor Hall is Canada's Ovechkin.

also, about Seguin being more complete...Seguin never once played on pk during playoffs except rare times, Hall has been actively on there pk all season, during playoffs.

Hall just needs more challenges, hes already dominated OHL. memorial cup winner mvp, ohl play off mvp...Hall made team canada while Seguin did not and was one of first cuts, people say it does not matter, but it does. Hall shows up and performs well in pressured games and games with big meaning...Seguin has not.

if Seguin was to be selected 1st overall, he should of went to u18 for Canada once elminited from OHL playoffs and prove otherwise like Stamkos in his draft year...He did not. I'm not sure if he can or not now.

    But

Fall 4 Hall is complete, i been chanting this since December and cannot wait to draft day.
