Well the way I feel and what I have some of these guys need to be smarter, kobe is the one that just got caught this time, I am willing to bet, that he got a piece and he just ran into the worng gold digging chic, who is looking for the loot, most of the players go buck wild, on this one it was kobe's time...I am not saying he raped her, but rape can be he is hitting it and then she says stop and he doesn't well that can be called rape, and here is another thing, he could have just been hitting it and left some evidence behind(you know what I mean) and she went to the cops after trying to get some loot from him...

I just think no matter it is screwed up, I wonder what his wife is saying, and he lives in California, his wife is going to be a very rich woman...It is simply called getting caught up, we have all been caught up before and if we were rich, it would escalate, like kobe...

in some fuzzy way, I have to agree with tyson, since he did the time and all the crap he went through because of that chic, I can understand when he says, I wish I would have, at least then I will be guilty of raping her.

Hey, I too agree with Tyson.

    Dude got a raw deal.

I have, and will always, maintain that when a female goes to a hotel room with a boxer (and Desiree KNEW who Tyson was) at 2 am in the morning, the female CANNOT BE STUPID enough to expect that they'll be talking politics, how to solve world hunger, how to stop pollution in Southern CA, etc.

Tyson got a raw deal, most of which was his own doing, but not all

This also oculd be like the Kirby
puckett case. The woman misunderstands Kobe's intentions, or just wants to calim he did this to get some $$$ or just publicity. Or maybe she's in love with Kobe and she just wants to use court as a chance to meet him...

Did anyone read this yet? This is cool..

Fans launch "Free Kobe" Web site
A pair of sports fans have launched a Web site to take advantage of the Kobe Bryant legal situation, the Rocky Mountain News reported Wednesday.

Californian Jeff Reichman and Boston-area resident David Feingold have created a campaign and a retail store at www.freekobe.com, where they are offering T-shirts, coffee cups and hats.

The two men launched the site Tuesday in response to reports that Bryant, a guard/small forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, was arrested in Eagle County on suspicion of sexual assault. Bryant has not yet been formally charged.

"There are not really any superstars to look up to anymore," Reichman, 24, said to the newspaper.

The site's creators, according to the newspaper, say they are seeking to "protect one of the few remaining role models in this tumultuous world of basketball fandom."

"It's not so much that we are huge fans of Kobe, but it's more that we are fans of the idea that there can be a hero, somebody to look up to in professional sports," Reichman said.

The T-shirts and hats sold on the site feature a "Free Kobe" logo and slogans such as, "Because we're running out of heroes."

hey, do those guys get a cut out of the T-shirts being sold?

After all, that's royalty fees for Kobe, and I don't think he'd ever agree to something like that!

    lol
