Well, i figured we were due one after the PK trip and the Kostitsyn hit in the face to be honest.

Not buying the trip but the little high stand up at the blue line is debatable.

Typical this time of year guys... All the games in the West too. (I havent been sleeping much - too much hockey LOL) the refs just seem to swallow the whistle.

    Play on!

Yeah I know it's typical, I just hope it doesnt decide anything...

And i'll admit i'm not looking forward to the start of the second with another PK...although that one was fully deserved, frustrated or not you can't just chop a guy's stick off...

Yes they really do a swell job...

Palease... that's not the difference in the first period.

    False.

PK Subban held and taken down - no penalty - play ends in a goal.

Hamrlik blatantly tripped by Crosby - ne penalty - play ends in a goal.

That's a pretty big swing in the game if those calls are made. Yeah they weren't, and that means that Halak should have made the saves, but they should have been.

Trust me, the good folks of Montreal know when a referee is screwing over the home favourite.

C'mon Richard, neither play was a penalty. Subban made a terrible read on the first goal. he left his side of the ice, and then was taken down by a guy already on the ice, who wasn't trying to trip him...he was sliding on the ice. Same as a check, since both men collided into each other. He never should have tried to pinch on that play, regardless.

The trip on Hamrlik? Looked a heck of a lot like a dive to me. Crosby barely touched him. It was a good no call.

Both calls on Gill were legit. He grabbed Dupuis and prevented a scoring chance, and then broke Crosby's stick in half.

The pens out played the Habs by a wide margain in period 1, calls or no calls aside.

The only one I might give you is the Eaton hit...but at game speed it looked like a clean hit. A bit high, but clean. I'd need to see it slow-motion to say for sure.
