I'll agree with that one, I think you can tell the refs are hesitant now because they know the crowd is annoyed from the first period...that doesnt bode well for either team

Message to Jacques Martin and his coaching staff : You won't probably beat the Pens with 16 or 18 shots per game. This team's a disgrace to the Folks who paid 400-500 $ to be in the crowd.

Almost 2 full periods in one game from Ponikarovsky... 'bout time
Both teams playing to the whistle here tonight. Great!

And that's fine if they want to call the game this way the rest of the way...just be consistent. The non-trip on malkin prevented a good scoring chance...so there better not be a questionable call (on either team) in the third that wasn't going to be a good scoring chance.

I take back what I said about the refs being in on a fix after the first period.
There were at least three times I thought for sure they'd hit the Habs for a tripping call.
So, it's not malignant favouritism; it's just benign incompetence.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

The jury is SOOO still out on this guy. He's got hands, and hockey sense, but if he uses his body more he can fully contribute.
The Mule with 4 goals in one period? Oh no it was just awarded to Bertuzzi. The Redwings are making a push to climb back in that series.
