I think we'll be able to find out a lot about just how much LeBron wants to win a championship with where he decides to go this offseason. If he goes to the Knicks or Nets... he's clearly just interested in money and advancing his brand. No offense to either team, it's just I don't think they're a "LeBron away" from contending. If he wants to win, he'll either stay in Cleveland or go to Chicago. Cleveland has bent over backwards to accommodate him and Chicago has a very nice core. Just not sure how much he wants to play in MJ's shadow.

Cavs fans - just interested to hear your thoughts on the Shaq trade now, even though you only gave up Wallace and Pavlovic, and a 2nd rounder for him...

It was the right move....we just didn't get to the teams we brought him in for (Orlando/LA).
While he slowed down the offense at times, he isn't the reason the Cavs are going home.

Ben Wallace, Pavlovic, and the 60th pick. So what if they didn't get to use shaq for what they brought him in for. They gave up practically nothing.

I think Shaq played pretty well.

I have nothing bad to say about the Shaq trade. We went all out for a chance to win the title this year, just came up short. Do or die. I truly believe that this was the Cavaliers last real chance at a championship, even if Lebron stays. The Cavaliers have no center for next year, let alone one that can handle Dwight. They have a lot of questions marks after this series. Delonte was terrible throughout the playoffs, I really don't know if he is going to stick around. Jamison is just a black hole on defense. Anthony Parker is getting older and we will need to find a shooting guard, especially since Delonte is so inconsistent. We have no point guards that can play defense. Too many holes with this team next year.
This was an all or nothing year, and we got nothing.

That was basically my thought on the Shaq trade...they tried, and that proved to not be good enough...but, it's better than not trying, and never knowing what might've been.

Miami is an option too if he wants to play with Wade. But I don't think he does.

Nah. He'll be the modern Oscar. I can see 'Bron hanging on long enough to get on a dominant young team and winning a title or two, possibly, but I don't see him leading one there at this point. He's just not aggressive enough when he needs to be.
That's MO anyway. Not trying to pick fights here, just saying what I see down the road.
