Player Collector Question
hey so i currently collect Niklas Kronwall and have almost every one of his cards i started collecting him in his rookie year so made it easier for me but my problem is Niklas Kronwall lacks really nice autos and patches so i was thinking of starting a Zetterberg collection just wondering if you guys think its worth while to start collecting him even though he now has thousands of cards is there any chance for me to get even close to gettting all his cards or should i pick a newer player?

My advice - pick whomever you like best and don't let the current card count discourage you. Take my Patrick Roy collection - I have just over 1000 different cards.... out of.. what.. 5000+? I'll never complete the collection, and I know others have "flashier" collections than I do.. but so what? I'VE GOT OVER 1000 different Roys! lol That's what makes me happy.. something to be proud of! :)
Best of luck with your new PC!
Cheers,
Halo

unless you have a LOT of money and time, i would not choose zetterberg as a player to collect and actually try to get a really high percentage of everything he has. he would be a great choice for someone who has a ton of stuff so there will pretty much always be something to get and will continue to be in every set thats going to come out. goodluck with whoever you do choose though!

Kindl, he is going to be big for the Wings, and it seems you like D-men.

I agree, pick whomever fancies you. Don't worry about percentage of cards owned. Worry about affordability instead.

If you're a wings fan and like d-men, I'd go with Lidstrom, his stuff isn't terribly expensive, which is surprising for being one of the greatest d-men of all time, and he has quite a bit of nice stuff out there.

It really depends on what kind of player collector you are. Based on what you're saying about your Kronwall pc, you are probably a completionist on some level. If that is in fact the case, then I would avoid super high card count, high demand guys like Zetterberg, unless you have a lot of money to put towards your new collection. If you don't care about percentages, then Zetterberg is a great choice.

ya. I was surprised when I saw that his BAP auto was like $7 at the hobby store.
IMO, I would not choose Zetterberg. Because he is a very popular player, and there are a lot of Zetterberg fans going after his cards. Rafalski is a good chose IMO. Any player that is underrated but is having a good career is a good chose.
