I simply said the technicals will be taken back, the whole sports community minus a few agree. I will be shocked if they hold up.

You're probably right. And I'm not trying to be disagreeable, I'm just saying that at least one T had validity. That's all. And understand, like Magic so eloquently stated, it was a bad call because it got him ejected. Doesn't mean it wasn't the right call. The refs just had a short fuse most likely because of the constant whining from both sides.

And by no means am I saying the refs gave the Magic the game, I just had a disagreement with the technicals. The Magic beat the Celtics butts last night, I did get to catch the last 6 minutes of the game and it wasn't pretty.

Its been reported that Perkins got one tech taken back so he will not be suspended for game 6...waiting for that Carter tech to be taken back

They took back the technical that some debated and not the one that we all assumed they would. When he slipped and caught the Magic player with an eblow stayed. Also upgraded Pierce's to a flagrant.

The end-game was simply to prevent the suspension so I guess it doesn't matter which one they took back. It was probably the easiest since Gortat's actions were just as iffy (especially since he was grinning the entire time). So to rescind that one would've required two. Interesting though because it was obviously the more accidental of the two actions.

Haha I like how it's no big deal when Howard throws elbows and injures other players. I can name a few instances just this series where Howard has came down from a bound or shot and just completely takes out someone.... earlier in the series he ripped Pierce down by the face.... then he elbowed KG like two plays in a row (one in the face one in the back of the head), and now he gives Davis a concussion/knocks 2 teeth out coming down from the rebound... And it's like "Oh Well" for everyone. I mean I guess people think "Oh yea, it's just Davis, at least the Big 3 aren't out".... (Davis the leading scorer 2 times this post season and a powerful bench man).
Of course if it WAS Pierce or KG that went down I'm pretty sure no one would care either. Just sayin...

1) Howard has knocked out several of his own guys with said elbows. He's just overly aggressive and going up in traffic and getting tangled up can cause problems. Thus the reason for the elbow pads. Player's beware lol
2) Nate had as much to do with Davis getting whacked than Dwight. Did they call a foul on that play btw?
3) No one can really tell when Pierce is really hurt anyways. And I'm telling you, Rondo and those awkward falls are going to catch up to him.Last edited by cgb_orl; 05-27-2010 at 10:02 PM.

Imagine if the Bruins and Celtics both blew 3-0 leads? I wouldn't be able to sleep any longer yikes.
