Doesnt make sense to own multiple teams...should be one owner for one team....get as many people in as possible - IF you dont get 32 owners, then you offer a second team....

    I am in for Kings.....

I like the draft format except, if there was an expansion in the NHL, you would not get to keep only 1 player on your existing team....

I would be in favor of trying to do this like a REAL NHL team.....23 players who have to be under the designated cap (maybe we up the cap a tad since we are not all professional GMs) - I am not sure of what they did when they expanded in the past, but I know the existing teams kept a certain amount of players "protected"

I checked ESPN....only lets you have 20 teams max so that option would be out for sure....

We could even start the draft at the beginning of the summer and run it through until the start of the season.......

Just throwing some things out there.....

Thats fine. I'd give the Kings to Chris. I'd rather have the expansion so I can start from scratch. Be prepared to lose someone good from your team though

and I agree. One person. One team. What we do is we run the expansion draft for me and the other expansion team.

Here is how that draft would work. Taken from the last NHL expansion draft in 2000...

" each team is allowed to protect either one goaltender, five defensemen, and nine forwards or two goaltenders, three defensemen, and seven forwards."

IMHO thats a bit too many so maybe we do you can protect a goalie, 3 d, and 6 forwards? Then from there we go in to the actual entry draft.

    Cool
I am in Fantasy leagues every year but I want one that makes you think like a real GM...Salary cap, teams where you need to really think about drafting that role player, that enforcer, that face-off specialist guy.....and not just focused on goals and assists.....something that will make everyone think in the 20th round on who their going to pick instead of quiting the draft after 15 rounds.....

3 d. That way when Chris keeps Doughty, Johnson, and someone, I can take either Greene or Voinov
